Maywood Mathletes Make Numbers Count at Statewide Competition

Maywood's Math Club team had an amazing weekend at the Math is Cool Masters competition in Moses Lake on April 26! Mathletes Aadhav R, Vedant R, Vihaan S, Darren Z, Kailaash A, Aditya G, Elysha L, and Aarush M represented our school with pride as they went up against kids from sixty different schools - that's a lot of brain power in one place! "The competition was super challenging, but our students showed what they're made of," said advisor Stephanie Siler.
Congratulations to 8th grader Kailaash A. for placing 6th in the individual competition and to the 8th grade team for landing an impressive 4th place finish overall.
