Maywood PTSA Brings the Sunshine Fun to Lunch

Students watch march madness basketball game in lunchroom

Our Maywood PTSA chose the right day to bring fun activities for students to enjoy during lunch Tuesday. The first 70-degree day of the year proved perfect for sidewalk chalk art and giant Connect 4 games in the courtyard. Students who chose indoor fun made origami art or watched NCAA basketball highlights on the big screen. Most days, students can choose to walk the track, read in the library, or play foosball during lunch.

"We're so grateful to our PTSA for organizing a fun and creative celebration to close out Trimester 2 and kick off Trimester 3! The sunny weather made it even better, and many students shared how much they’d love more days like this," said Principal Erin Armstrong. "Thank you to all the volunteers who made it possible—we're excited for more all-school rewards ahead!"
