Maywood Robotics Starts Competition Season
In early November, Maywood Robotics teams started their competition season for the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Tech Challenge. This is the first year that Maywood has had teams compete and students have been working since September to design their robots with support from Liberty High School Robotics teams, parent mentors, and staff advisor, Tod Oney. They did a great job driving their robots in the competition and now have time to make adjustments to their robots before the next competition in December.
Thank you to the Issaquah Schools Foundation and OSPI for helping to fund our robotics program! Good luck this season, Battery Rams and Tech Potatoes!
