Maywood's Math Club Team Takes 1st in Statewide Competition

On Saturday, Maywood’s 7th and 8th grade Math Club competed in the Math is Cool Masters competition at Moses Lake High School. Amidst fierce competition from 111 teams statewide, our mathletes demonstrated remarkable skill and dedication, proudly representing Maywood.
Impressively, our 7th grade team took 1st place, with their outstanding teamwork and perseverance. "Their hard work and determination really paid off," said advisor Stephanie Siler. 7th grade team members are Elysha L., Kailaash A., Aarush M., and Aditya G.
Congratulations also to our 8th grade team members: Brendan K, Isabel J, and Ashwin J. Your commitment to excellence has brought great honor to our school.
