Practice End Time -Monday, Tuesday and Thursday immediately after school until 4:10- activity bus departs at 4:25. Wednesday immediately after school until 5:10- activity bus departs at 5:20 sharp.
Game/Meet End Time - these vary sport to sport and day to day. Please refer to the specific sport handbook and/or the coach for further guidance. However, it is very important that you have a plan to pick up your student around the time that is suggested and/or you be available by phone to know when students are headed back to Maywood. Please be mindful of our coach's time as they wait with your student until they are picked up.
Philosophy of the Maywood Athletic Program - The program is designed to provide instruction in the skills needed to positively compete in athletics. Although we will strive to be competitive in every contest, our focus will be on providing ample playing time for all team members who are in good standing. We will highlight personal growth in our participants as athletes, students, and citizens. We expect our athletes, coaches, and parents to represent Maywood in a positive, respectful manner.
